adidas and Andrew Wiggins unveil new Crazylight Boost 2.5 PEs


adidas unveils new Andrew Wiggins PEs for the Crazylight Boost 2.5. Each colorway features unique design elements inspired by Wiggins’ family history and on-court play with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Marita
The “Marita” is Wiggins’ first silhouette dedicated to his mother, Marita Payne-Wiggins, and her success as an Olympic sprinter who helped Canada win two silver medals in the 4×100 and 4×400-meter relays in the 1984 Summer Games. They feature a silver to red gradient upper, blending Primeknit threads with forefoot mesh to deliver added breathability on the hardwood. Silver accents along the midsole, heel cap, collar lining and laces are paired with a red and white outsole for a true Canadian tribute. Gold hits to the upper’s foil treated seam and AW logo cap off the hometown exclusive.

North Star
Calling on Minnesota’s state motto – L’Etoile du Nord or The Star of the North – Wiggins’ “North Star” PE is constructed with a metallic heel counter and silver detailing. Designed in team colors, the shoe features a black and blue Primeknit upper with seamless integration of mesh tooling and deep blue accents throughout.

The first basketball shoe to feature a full-length Charged Cushioning midsole unit and a UA SpeedForm seamless upper, the Curry Two was first unveiled by Curry during his tour of Asia on the Under Armour Road Show on September 6 in Shanghai, China, and will be available at retail globally on 24 October 2015.

The new spot, created by award-winning agency Droga5 and entitled “Flash,” illuminates Curry’s unparalleled skill set, which continues to transform the game of basketball. Foxx provides a narrative that questions, “How long does it take to change the game of basketball?” The emphatic response is, “.4 seconds,” which is the amount of time it takes for Curry to release a shot, the fastest ever measured. Amidst explosions of light, sparks and smoke, Curry unleashes an array of moves in an explosive sequence, as Foxx narrates his journey to the top and his lasting effect on the sport.

The spot features the “Iron Sharpens Iron” Curry Two, the lead colourway of Stephen’s second signature shoe. Inspired by Stephen’s relentless commitment and dedication to make his teammates better through his play and leadership, the “Iron Sharpens Iron” Curry Two features a grey upper with a back layer of yellow that pops through perforated patterning, as well as a midsole with orange to yellow fade that incorporates detailed speckles to represent the forging of metal. Stephen’s motto, “Make My Teammates Better,” serves as the foundation for how Stephen mentally approaches the game of basketball. His strength and fortitude serves as a source of strength for his teammates and the team.Additional colourways of the Curry Two will release throughout the season.

adidas Brings shoes to Life with “Ballin’ Dead” Halloween Collection


Just in time for Halloween, adidas unveiled the “Ballin’ Dead” pack, featuring zombie-inspired editions of the D Rose 6 and D Lillard 1.

D Rose 6
The D Rose 6 features a core black upper embossed with a reflective zombie brain pattern that bleeds onto a pink STABLEFRAME midsole. Green drip graphics overlay adidas branding on the tongue, complementing the glow-in-the-dark outsole and D Rose logo prominently displayed on the heel. Pink hits at the toe cap and FITFRAME heel cage contrast the silhouette’s deep purple accents for a haunting look.

The D Lillard 1 features a two-tone upper with core black hues and a slime green base running from heel to toe. A glow-in-the-dark midsole with pink splatter oozes to the outsole, while a reflective brain pattern overlays the dark silhouette.
