Under Armour launches The Avengers: Age of Ultron Alter Ego Baselayers, T-shirts and On-screen Replicas


Metro Manila, 9 May 2015 –U.S. revolutionary high-performance sports label, Under Armour, invites citizens to join the alliance in their quest for victory with the launch of The Avengers: Age of Ultron apparel. The new collection is an extension of the on-going collaboration with Marvel Comics and DC Comics for the label’s Alter Ego line.


This collection features the designs of the four main characters’ armour or torso on the Compression baselayer. The latter provides an ultra-tight, second-skin fit, delivering a locked-in feel to keep muscles fresh and quicken recovery time.

The embodiment of ultimate strength and undying spirit, the Hulk baselayer is a copy of the ripped beast, while Thor’s Asgardian battle armour, formed to overcome all obstacles, is a reflection of his dedication to saving mankind. A technology genius focused on continuous improvement, the Iron Man Mark 48 is a testament to Tony Stark’s panache. Meanwhile, Captain America embodies Under Armour’s I WILLTM mantra, an everyman with the unwavering spirit to constantly perform his best.

T-shirts featuring the emblems of the four superheroes are on sale as well.

Keeping to the brand’s promise of making one feel invincible, Under Armour has replicated the movie characters’ on-screen apparel, too. The same baselayers built for heroic performance donned by Pietro Maximoff (Quicksilver), Natasha Romanoff (Black Widow), Steve Rogers (Captain America) and Tony Stark (Iron Man), are now available in stores and online.
