Philippine Coast Guard Takbo para sa Malinis na Karagatan led the September runs


Philippine Coast Guard started the month of September with a run for a cause entitled – Philippines Coast Guard Takbo para sa Malinis na Karagatan. I wasn’t able to join the event because I’m not feeling well that day but I was there and some of Sigue Correr! Runners who participated and supported the event. The event composed of 3 categories, 5k,5k(Barefoot Runners) and 3K. There are 3 top finishers awarded in this 3 categories including the top 3 barefoot runners in 5K.

Starting Line

To all the running enthusiasts especially to those who always run in Roxas Blvd, the route was same were the past events were held, newest in this race the starting line was located at Macapagal Port in front of the Philippine Coast Guard office and there’s a category separated for the barefoot runners who participated the event.

Philippine Coast Guard Ready Force Team showed a support for their event by participating and assigned to be the hydration team.

All finisher’s received also a finisher’s medal for this event.
