The press conference I went to last week, which was held at Crimson Hotel gave me a clear flashback on my participation in introducing Color Manila to the community. In year 2013, on the first land of Color Manila Run (morning run), it floods of positive comments to different levels of participants. Running enthusiasts, parents, kids, non-runners took time to try a unique experience. Nothing bothers to wake up as early as 05:00 am just to bring and gear up their selves on the said event.
Alongside with this morning run, they also presented the Color Manila Nite Run an evening run highlights the role of colorful led lights with an extravaganza after party. In Metro Manila, they successfully unleashed two legs in two prime event locations.
In the third quarter of year 2014 Color Manila Nite Run is back, a comeback with a new version – the Glow Paint Edition. This is supposedly a promise that did not come about in recent legs held in Metro Manila, it turns some quiet disappointments to those who are awaiting the presence of Glow Paints before. Out of the knowledge of everyone, the holding of use of glow paints in the recent legs was due to the safety of runners. Primarily, the Organizer’s main concern aside from providing fun and unique experience to their events, SAFETY OF THE PARTICIPANTS still prevail.

When Jay Em head of ProActiv together with Business Development Head Justine Cordero presented on stage, they proudly shared how Color Manila was started and to whom. Color Manila intended to bring a smile and provide a unique experience for all, regardless if you are runners or non runners, encourage them also to get into fitness and a healthy lifestyle as well. Since then, I envisioned the transformation of this event from bigger into a bigger and hopefully biggest fun run event in coming years. In fact, they had been successfully extended the fun and unique experience to our kababayans in the Visayas region, in Queen City of the South – Cebu they considered as one of the biggest event held on their first visit and last July Color Manila Nite illuminates the road of Bacolod and the after party crowd was excellent.

Registration is on-going until Aug 29 or while supply last.
